Tastes a lot older than it is. May need some time to open up. Not a typical Barossa Shiraz

Appearance: deep ruby Nose: dark fruit, plum, vanilla Palate: dry, medium tannin, medium+ acidity, medium+ body, 14% ABV, medium+ finish. Lots of primary fruit, strong vanilla notes from oak Conclusions: PnP. Nose is dark fruit, overwhelming oak. Mild tannins, vibrant acidity. Palate is fruit forward, leather, lingering finish. Easy drinker, lacks any depth. The oak gives off an almost bubblegum note that is quite intense. Good quality 85

Lovely Shiraz drinking well now. Shows great regional characters. Well balanced with with lovely fruit characteristics coming through. The wine is not overburdened by excessive blackberry characters and the wine is not overripe. It is supple with an elegance combined with some richness. It is a young wine but it did not drink too young. Great value for the money

Medium+ body Sweet with sour cherry on the finish Drinking better after 3hrs but nothing special Not worth the premium over the Footbolt.
