Another excellent Broc wine, another "lowly" variety elevated and treated with care and precision. Brambly, as a previous taster noted, is a good descriptor. There's a dusty quality (not dusty tannins) that I associate with growing up in Northern California - a blend of dust, eucalyptus, and the aforementioned bramble. And maybe a touch of funky white pepper. I'd call the fruit a blend of red and black. Relatively light, but still round and mouth-filling. Go Broc go.

Brambly on the nose, "soft" black fruit, touch of spice, medium acid, very little tannin. Saline finish. Not a lot of complexity, but quite quaffable.
