Machherndl Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Kollmitz

N: pronounced nose, ripe fruits - defined and pure (ripe melon, quince) - with lots of smokey/flinty notes, almost like a reductive chardonnay. Very attractive. P: full-bodied, warming alcohol. Pronounced flavours, really rounded and luscious on the palate. Layers of ripe pear, quince, spices, plus smoke and a lovely creaminess to the texture. Complex, full bodied, gastronomic, long finish. Excellent Smaragd.
