Two years since I last tried this from my cellar, and it is still holds up well. Little to add to that April 2014 note other a streak of citrus (lime) zest keeping the wine fresh and vibrant. Probably for drinking over this summer while at its best.

Has developed well since last note and approaching peak. Exotic tropical fruit aromatics and vanilla oak are much more integrated and this viscous tongue coating wine has developed fantastic concentration. Full but dry with good length. May yet reach the magic 90pt mark.

Another good value wine from Coombe. Unscrewed for 30 minutes and served at cellar temperature. Melon with hint of exotic fruit and vanilla tones on nose. Good fruit, nectarine and citrus zest with definite unresolved oak in the background. Needs a little longer for fruit to come to fore and reach its plateau and will look to be drinking 2014-16. If all goes well will hope for another point or two.
