Wine is past it's prime. A little time in the glass improves it slightly but fruit is diminished and not much has developed to compensate.

Needed a little time to open up, but was in a good spot once it did. Has lost a lot of its fruit but has the depth and only a slight hint of heat that went away as it had time to breathe. Doubt it will get any better and it definitely shouldn't be a pop and pour.

Hint of Zin ont he mouth is then followed by plush rhone like varietals and the wine just is a great drink. Really enjoyed. left one glass over night and it still had nice character today. Drink now and enjoy!

Drinking great, but needed an hour in the bottle.

Complex nose of spice, black fruit, and vanilla. Very smooth on the front and mid-palate. Vanilla and oak became more pronounced over time as this seemed to become sweeter and lose some of its initial balance with more air.

Lost a lot of fruit but still dark and complex in the mouth. Could have used more acidity since it feels a bit flabby now. Could be closing down.

Had at offline with the group. Big n dark in glass. Sweet dark berries on nose, no dirty socks here and it got better as the nigh wore on. P n P, a bit hot at first, but this seemed to mellow within a hour. Not too over the top. Big dark fruits that only softened a bit as the night progressed. Ready to go now, but still seems to have a few years left.

Wine Spectator Offline, San Diego (Mimmo's, Little Italy) : Dark purple-fuschia-garnet. Stewed prunes, oak, spicy jammy black fruit. Excessive sur maturite for my taste. 74%Zin, 12% Mourvedre, 8% Alicante, 6% Syrah.

Great Zin blend. Loads of pepper and black & red fruit. A bit hot at first but that blew off in the first 15 minutes. This one was at about the perfect age. If you are still sitting on these now is the time.

P-n-P..... Snff, snff. Snnnfffff. I thought I washed those socks. Maybe it is cheese left out from dinner. Whatever it is it is stinky with a bitter finish. Funny how sometimes what is on the nose does not translate whatsoever in the glass. THe fruit is starting to fade here, but come on, it was so big to begin with. Black cherry and raspberry liquor, but the mourvedre is bringing something else to this party and it has minerality and …

Well made but not my cup of tea. Nose has black raspberries, black tea and tobacco components. The palate continued with these flavors and finished with an acidic tartness comprised of acid, tanins and alcohol. It seemed sharp rather than lively and just didn't hit my palate well.

Another great LC experience! When first tasted, the zinfandel and mouvedre separated and then complemented each other beautifully. Really skillfully blended.

I drank this too young and didn't give it a chance to show it's stuff. If you drink it now...let it sit another couple of years or be prepared to decant.

Great Zin blend! Great black and white pepper with intense ripe berry and smooth finish. Simply great wine and what you should expect from Linne Calodo.

A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. A big wine, full bodied, raspberry, black cherry, liquor like, Rhone style, decant, 15.9% alcohol makes it a little hot but the levels of flavor keep it together.

Definitely an OMG moment - our first Linne, a stunning Central CA coast zin blend, very impressed, received as the CT SS gift from CT member Drycab earlier today, thoroughly enjoyed with Kim and Anne Ryan / annerk's husband Jim for dessert at the Ruth's Chris steakhouse in Princeton NJ. Even at this price point a very reasonable QPR, this wine is just that good, highly recommend this wine. Nose aromatic and explosive with dark cherry, black pepper, allspice. Big, …

Deep violet color. Nose somewhat muted with spices and vanilla. Good Zin attack with a nice mineral midpalate, but finish is somewhat hotter than the one I had last year. I would go ahead and drink up.

Decanted and consumed with Lamb Chops on the grill, garlic mashed and a salad. Went great with the lamb, but was challenged by the garlic mashed and the salad dressing. After the food was gone, it was great sipping juice!!

Nice Zin blend thats really not as thick and overripe as some LC can be, rather medium/full body. I really like blended Zin though as it really seems to round out the flavor. Dark red fruit in a refined style, does have a touch of heat on the finish.
