A very pleasant Brut Rose Cremant De Limoux. Lovely pink color in the glass with abundant effervescence. On the palate, taste sensations of strawberries, white nectarines and pears/apples. Mouthfeel at mid-palate feels light bodied, yet with full flavors of the wine’s aromas. Pleasant mid length finish. Excellent Cremant for everyday enjoyment.

CBCC spring wine tasting (part 2) Light bodied and light alchohol sparkling wine. I mean I think I heard 12% alchohol. I get light strawberry and raspberry and an enjoyable low acidity mid palette. I like this as a reflection for summer drinking wines. Worth finding but nothing exceptional.

Samples from Italy & France : Medium salmon color. Nose is crisp and floral, with white cherries, wild strawberries, red McIntosh apple peel. Tangy and zippy on the palate, a light style with bright bubbles, white cherries, red apple. Notes of white pepper, baby’s breath, verbena, and a nice salty minerality that lifts it up. Solid bargain. 65% Chardonnay, 20% Chenin Blanc, 15% Pinot Noir, aged 15 months on the lees.

Medium nose shows watermelon, lime zest, strawberry skin, rosewater. Palate matches, nice freshness, zesty fruit that's also light, some phenolics give it structure and dryness. Finishes dry. Nice value, good Springtime wine.
