1986 Maison Leroy Beaune Sizies - A surprizingly good wine that the sommelier wrestled me into buying. I had serious reservations both about the vintage and the terroir. The wine managed to overcome both...or maybe the low expectations helped? Deep color and ripe fruit flavours. Again, the Leroy signature perfume. Excellent with an amazing beef bourgignon from Tontons in Beaune. 91 pts.
