Good surprise for such an average-looking bottle (label design is almost like an inexpensive Argentinian Cab/Malbec but tastes like a cutting edge serious/modern natural wine). Purplish dark garnet in color. Intense nose consisting of cassis, blueberry, melty prune, cinnamon, and underbrush, with a touch of almost Baudry-esque nostalgic funk.
