What a surprise. I did not have high hopes for this wine, as new world chardonnays at the age of 4 usually taste old and over the hill... Got this for about 12 Euros some time ago. A medium yellow color and a very inviting, complex chardonnay typical nose. The wine was fermented and raised in french barrels, and it shows.
