Another solid vintage of this Sardinian Grenache based wine. Bright ruby color. Beautiful aromas of violets, crushed gravel and dark fruit. The pallet is also full of ripe dark fruit with wild herbs with a hint of Chinese Five Spice on the finish. Oak is in the background. Well structured, bright acidity and nicely balanced.

Very intensity of fruits. Strong and deep taste of berries and flavour of Sardinian earth and climate. Intense, sharp tannins while soft and smooth finish. Definitely to drink again and to recommend.

Strong fruit taste of cherries with soft tannines. Good for Italian pasta. Surprisingly after 8 years still in good shape, definitely needs one hour to open up in a decanter.

Well it's not a Sangiovese so I guess I should not have expected any fruit flavor. That said it is aromatic but really closed perhaps opened way to early. Wait for many years if you really want to try this wine. Not my style Had at CBCC wine tasting alongside the following:
