Summer Patio Dining over the 4th (Shari's, Mpls, MN) : Pale gold color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. Nicely autolytic, roasted almonds, brioche, pear galette, ocean breeze, earthy and lightly floral nose. The palate is toasted, pear, brioche, almond cream, stone, with hints of lime and anise on the finish. Elegant and refined. 93+pts.

Monthly Tasting Group: Worldwide Chardonnay (Oceanaire, Mpls, MN) : Light gold color. Drank a glass plus over an hour. I'm a big fan of this wine. I agree with Chablis28 in that there are certainly key similarities stylistically to Comte. Very delicate and precise with complexity and poise. ALmond, brioche, toast and lemon, delicate, panna cotta on the nose. The palate offers melon, lemon, wet stone, lively, toast, dried green herbs, medium plus finish. Just lovely.

Flavors and feel - Creamy, velvety, pear, vanilla. Visually - bubbles, like a strand of tiny pearls, up the center of the glass forming a persistent dime-sized circle on the surface. Wonderful with grilled lobster. Bottle was sabered perfectly for us by Chef.
