(15,5/20) Juicy, fresh and pure Pinot Noir still wine from the Champagne area. Blend of 2019, 2020 and 2022 vintages. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Medium intense aromas of rose petal, redcurrant, strawberry, red cherry, tomato leaf, liquorice wood, coffee, wet leaves. Dry wine, high acidity, low tannins, light body, pronounced flavour intensity, medium+ length finish. 12% ABV - Geoffroy winemaker's lunch @ Blossem/Markant

My first non vintane Coteaux Champenois rouge, made from blending PN from 5 or 6 different vintages of 2000’s, aged for 10 months in used oak and stainless steel. Pale garnet colour. Medium+ intensity aroma of smoky strawberries and cherries, flint, graphite, earth, dried rose petals. Light body, lean and thinly built, tense and pleasantly tart texture, juicy and smoky red fruit flavours, bursting high acidity, medium- tannins.

Crimson with browning, looks overly developed for a 2012. Nose is all barnyard funk, stewed prunes, overripe cherry. This bottle is funky and over the hill. Perhaps I just got a bad one, but this aged horribly.

Thin, like a diluted Pinot Noir that began in a Burgundian style. M- intensity of red fruit and forest floor. Nice to try a still wine from Champagne, and it seems like more was possible. The fruit is not so much unripe, but mostly just lacking in concentration and intensity. Purchased in Champagne with a lower QPR.

Nice acidity but overall it's just a bit too thin and light and lacking fruit and complexity.

Impressive nose. Everybody was on Côte de Nuits. But the acidity is too striking for a 10 year-old wine. Still much enjoyable and worth the money!

Surprisingly excellent and very juicy pinot noir.

I didn’t like it. Not balanced. Fresh but nothing else.

Bought five years ago, which seems too much. Thin, with modest fruit. Well over the top.

I'm on a boat (Chicago, IL) : Impressive stuff; it really is voluptuous. Very nice sweet fruit here. Imagine something along the lines of Vilmart but without the oxidative tones, but still with the same breadth and richness.

2012 vintage

I bought this wine at an auction and based on the label it seems to be a NV from before 2000. The cork also points in that direction. The nose was very pretty, sour cherries, forrest. Reminds of a burgundy. On the palette, the acidity is very high, but not aggressive. Light bodied, medium length, but a lovely wine.

Medium ruby color with pale meniscus; appealing, tart cranberry, Pommard-like, tart red berry nose; tasty, fresh, tart cranberry, tart pomegranate palate with medium acidity; short-medium finish (12.5% alcohol)

A few days in Champagne; 7/10/2006-7/12/2006 (Marne) : Barely ripe plum and flower aromas - quite expressive on the nose. Delightful cold-weather Pinot, well balanced with brambly fruit. Firm, but not excessively acid finish. Great purity of Pinot flavors. Quite a value.
