Very chablis-like, high acidity, lemon and grapefruit, stone, mountain herbs, even better on day 2

Paid $38 CAD. Probably about $7-$8 more than I would have, but still a lovely bottle. Nose of honey, earth, and very ripe apricot. Plenty of citrus and minerality on the palate as well.

100% Carricante Light straw, lemon skin color. Clean and transparent. My first word after sniffing this is "precision". Grapefruit, lime, lime skin, with refreshing sense of flint, beach rock, granite. Palate is bright and dry. Bucket load of acidity, though not lean. There is a slight bitter undertone to it. Similar fruit profile to the aromatics, though with a hint of wild-flower honey. Finish is refreshing and round. I love this. Amazing value find in the wine wasteland that is …

First impression in the nose delivers a lot of minerals, grapefruit and citrus. In the mouth you get a very clean expression of the terroir with a very fine medium+ acidity. Every sip delivers other fruit-impressions with white fruits with a stone core, exotic fruits, mango, grapefruit, citrus...and all of this with a mineral backbone. Excellent QPR!!!

Quite a mineral character on the nose (or is it reduction); quite an explosive spread on the palate, good flavour, that mineral streak again. Good flavour and length here, complex.

Well made linear, fresh and easy. Very light and bright in colour and taste. Love the way the upfront fruit dissipates to a dry, salty savoury edge - makes it easy to drink. For me was hinting of nectarines, apricots, mineral and shells (almost a little Chablis like). Also has an interesting viscosity or roundness in the mouth.

Well made wine, slight pink hue, stone fruit, Sicilian lemon and wet rock on the nose, high acidity, clean and linear, roundness in mouth but not oily, medium (+) finish. Very good wine, refreshing but with some depth. While very enjoyable, I as expecting it to be dramatically different from other Southern Italian wines given the Etna soil and elevation.
