Enjoyed pairing with DeBrand's chocolate truffles with Jim and Judy Voelz. This was delicious -- one of the best Merlots we have had in some time.

Showed very well, rich, tannic and still a bit young. give this a couple hours decant or another couple years. Restores my faith in Merlot (a bit).

Sweeter than the previous bottle, and sweeter than any Merlot I've had. Light alcohol flavor and mostly sweet red fruit. Light- to medium-red in the glass.

I'm not typically a Merlot fan but this is a decent bottle. The taste is medium-bodied and smooth. A bit of alcohol on the nose but no heat detected. This would be a good bottle with a pizza and made a great gift for a friend that enjoys Merlot.

One of the better 2000's that I tried. Tannic and in need of some time. More voluptuous than the Cabs at this tasting. Red berry, mild oak and mocha notes. 90-92.
