Not my favorite. It is slightly corked but that is not the biggest problem. Lacking varietal character and any sense of place. Over-oaked, jammy, flabby, and short. There is some nice black cherry but there is nothing to recommend this as a good barbera.

This was barely drinkable drinkable and got worse as time went on. It wasn't corked and the cork looked fine, but there was a taste of oxidation. Perhaps it was an off bottle, but i f you have a a few of these you might want to try one.

I don' drink enough Barbera to know what a really good one is, but I do like this wine. Is it "Outstanding"? No. But it's better than good and I am happy that I have more in my cellar.

Nice wine. Needs an hour or so to open up. Nice balance of earth and fruit.

A very nice barbera. Well balanced, good acid, and minerality.

I don't remember this wine at all. Certainly not a 90 pointer as JS suggested.

don't know what EG drank a few months back but this wine was firing away on all cylinders the other night ... this wine paired extremely well with our friday night pizza ... subdued aromatics initially... some air time leads to a cranberry and tea component on the nose ... loads of sour cherries on the palate ... the acidity is there and in balance with mild tannins ... an excellent barbera imho ... would rebuy @17 from WTSO but …

A big, dark and brooding barbera with black currant, toasty oak and graham cracker on the nose. The palate shows rich raspberry jam, spice and pepper. Honestly, if I wanted a fruit bomb, I wouldn't buy barbera. This bottle lacked varietal character and the text book acidity that i love about barbera which was completely covered in a layer of overused oak. Not bad, but not good.
