Tasty and drinking well w 5yrs age on it. Lots of apricot, soft pear, roasted lemon and something tropical, I like the subtle oak treatment here as well as the elegance bordering on decadence. A bit ripe and opulent for my everyday tastes, but well-made with good acidity and a touch of mineral to clean it up. I agree with others that it’s a tad hot ABV-wise. I’d like to give this another whirl from a cooler vintage perhaps.

Fruity, with peach, Apricot, grilled lemon, some minerality/smoke. On the palate rich and firm, medium acidity, tropical fruits with a mineral twist. A slight bitterness on the finish, but besides that quite good. With food the bitterness was not noticeable.

Feb 2018: had again with salmon roe and rice, also with veggies and beans. did not like. Jan 2018: Had with some sort of fish dish, I can't remember what exactly. Liked it quite a bit less than the time before. R was meh too. Try serving it colder (40-45°). Tour du Rhône (limited notes here and there) : Youthful, ripe and tropical nose. Very good intensity to the aromas. Pineapple, peach, apricot and yellow pear. There's also some spicy oak and a fat, waxy, honeycomb-like note to it. Medium bodied with surprisingly high acidity and very good intensity. Kind of oily mouthfeel with really ripe fruit, spicy oak and notes of honey. There might be a little bit of RS. The finish is lingering and has a little bit …

Interestingly positive notes from other reviewers. For my taste this i18-24 months too young. Promise certainly. We shall see.

2015 Southern Rhône Flight (K&L Wines, San Francisco) : Dull yellow. Tropical fruit nose. Nice texture without being oily or heavy. Bright acidity, more citrus than I expected. Nice wine.

My first ever white de-pape. What a treat, rich-bodied, full flavour and a nice length. Would recommend and I will stock the cellar with more. Long nose and long taste afterwords. Big and fat white wine. Some nuts, butter, tropical fruits in my mind.

Printemps du Châteauneuf-du-Pape tasting. (La salle des fêtes in Châteauneuf-du-Pape) : Beautiful white fruits, anise, good balance between acidity, some sweetness and some pleasant bitterness. Good length.

Well structured, crisp and quite complex on the mid-palate with notes of scented straw, some white fruit and candlewax. Nice acidity backbone and overall tension. Good QPR wine. Will open up the next 5 years.
