Fantastically matured with complex fruit and rounded oak. Drank it around 12-14 degrees celsius on a hot summer day. Amazingly refreshing. Quite minerally and with a touch of spice and pepper.

Nóvembersmakk Eðalklúbbsins 2023 (Bólstaðarhlíð 29) : Þetta vín var loftað í 1-2 tíma. Frekar eða jafnvel mjög dökkt á litinn. Ilmur: Bleklykt, UHU lím, leysiefni, súkkulaði, dökk ber og smá bruni. Sætukenndur ávöxtur á tungu án þess að vera væmið þó. Kirsuber, bruni og reykur. Mikill kraftur og gríðarlegur ferskleiki. Það var talað um að þetta væri hannað vín, sem gæti svo sem alveg verið þegar kom í ljós hver framleiðandinn var. Frábært vín og fyrir mig besta vín kvöldsins …

Decanted 1/2h, lots of sediment. Very young, purple rim, spicy herbs notes dominant nose, firm structure. Lots of concenttation in the fruit and long taste. I would leave this half a decade before next bottle, way too young.

SAQ N° 13787957 116,75$ Ma déception du souper du réveillon. Un producteur qui n'était pas disponible dans mon séjour dans le Priorat. Carafé 1 heure, je l'ai trouvé fermé à double tour au nez. Bouche avec une super texture mais muet. J'en ai une autre qui va devoir respirer encore plus et être dégustée avec plus d'attention, mais pas de wow pour ce prodcteur sur fois d'une seule expérience. NR

Þriðja og síðasta forkaupasmakk. (Marbakkabraut 12) : Svipað og Ferrer Bobet Vinyes Velles á litinn. Bökunardropar og vöfflulykt í nefinu. Hindber og súkkulaði líka í ilmi. Höfugur ilmur. Síðan á tungunni. Brenndir tónar. Súkkulaðihjúpuð cantaloupe melóna. Bragðið er frekar þunnt. Mikill ferskleiki. Virkilega, virkilega gott vín.

Mörk och tät. Stor doft av mörk frukt, ljus choklad och lakrisört. Körsbär i smaken, fyllig, med en näve navelstänger. Lång lång eftersmak. Mycket bra!

Vuelta Espagnol - Spanish grape varieties/regions tasting (Palma de Mallorca) : During an organized Spain tasting. Deep purple. Expressive note of dark berries with eucalyptus, mint and graphite. Medium-full body but highly mineralic and fruity at the same time, no animalic notes. Raou Bobet is one of Spains best wine makers and it shows in this bottle. Great Carignan!
