PnP, with dominant aromas and flavors of tart blackberry and black pepper. A tad lean, and doesn't show off its sense of place as well as it should.

Lightweight but pleasant. Definitely peppery but not a great match for sirloin steak. Glad I only had one bottle.

A good food wine style of Syrah. Nice aromas of blackberries and black peppercorns. Very smooth on the palate, medium bodied, with good dark berry fruit, a bit of toasty oak and black pepper, and a nice palate-cleansing fresh acidity on the finish.

Same purchase because of the M&S withdraw from China, drunk after hold for more than a month for avoiding bottle shock. 2017/4/19 am:9:00,fruit: It's more like a strawberry juice, with a sweetness ending,10minute later by the Syrah glass, withs the sour cherry, and mints, than seems sight of French oak,(Violet)with a smoked cider wood and white pepper note,mid-palate,mid acidity, short finish, velvet liked tannin, quite lovely for myself suitable for summer drink. Drinking window:2016-2018? 89-90 drink now Another half-2017/4/19 pm:18:00,root A note of blue berry, cream soda, fruit and structure …

Plum rich with a twist of smoky spice on the finish. Would have gone very well with a roast but pleasant, if a little heavy on its own as well.

Pleasant enough but not good enough for us to come back, fruity and light but not particularly complex and wholesome.

From Marks & Spencer Shanghai closing down sale! Garnet. Ripe cherry and licorice. Rather heady and earthy compared to new world syrah. 'Older'. Some notable acidity and tannins in the aftertaste that make for a not particularly 'clean' finish.
