This central coast CA Malbec could definitely be mistaken for an Argentinian one, and that's a compliment! Fruit forward nose with aromas of plum, blackberry, along with mocha, and espresso beans. Juicy pallate of sugar plum and raspberry, and medium tannins which admittedly comes across slightly off-dry. All in all quite good and was an outstanding pairing with flank steak and chimichurri sauce [4/22/23] ($36)
