Domaine Anne Gros Bourgogne

Bought in auction, more in hope than expectation. Bottle pristine, high level, looks well stored. Slightly cloudy. I really shouldn't be surprised that a 15 year old generic bourgogne from an good domanine can show so well, but I am. Lovely nose. The ripe tannins and the acidic backbone are perhaps both a shade heavy for the fruit, and if that's being picky, it's because it's good enough to justify being picky.
