Johan Vineyards Pinot Noir Nils

Dark sappy but very nice. Certainly on the bigger side, but not smothered in the generic willamette characteristics so ubiquitous across a swath of OR Pinots. Earthy, soil-y, no funk, no mushroom, but rather dark cherry and sticky, lingering tannins. Best served at cold cellar temp, gets cloying as it warms beyond that. Short, uninteresting finish.
