Black cherry, currant, dark spice on the nose. Through the body really nice acidity, kind of comes on strong right now. Nice earthiness in the body. Not a lot of fruit. Nice, long, elegant and balanced finish. Very good right now, probably amazing in a few years.

Tasted at 503 Wines in Sherwood Oregon, then bought a few bottles for my cellar. 2012 was a great year for Pinot, and it left this wine with a rich heavier than most body and flavor. I don't care for most Oregon Pinots as they are to watery for my taste, but 2012 was a great year, and this is one of the better Oregon Pinots for the price in my opinion.
