Turning 40 at Talula's; 6/18/2022-6/19/2022 (Talula's Table) : Took a while to shake off the grape dimetap flavor. Eventually showed more OR typicity, but drank like a baby - nowhere near the 10 years of age that it had. Keep on cellaring.

I concur with Sourdough - a dark, muscular, spicy, and impeccably balanced wine. Years left to go.

The darkest, biggest Willamette PN I have had. Deep, complex nose promises great wine. Big and complex in the mouth. Easily the most impressive wine I have had from Ayoub. Outstanding!

This wine was popped and poured: Saturated Burgundy color; initially a bit of tartness on the nose coupled with damp forest floor. Full on the palate, pleasant impression. At first it was closed but, with exposure to the air, it developed a rich taste and smell of black cherries. Quite a pleasant and significant change from the 2011 vintage of the same vineyard!

Wonderful wine. Definitely the calmed down version of what I'd tried in 2014. Started off with a nose of cedar and a tinge of spice, and opened up to a bog of cranberries. Love it. Mo makes wonderful wine.

Wine of the trip, and bound to get better. The nose has darker fruit than is normal for Dundee, with a little spice. The blackberry and spice then mix with earth, which gives way to cinnamon after 10-15 seconds, as the dark fruit lingers. This is more balanced than the other 2012's we tasted this trip. In the end, it is exactly and delightfully what you would expect from the best 2-3 barrels of Mo's estate fruit. 94 for now.
