Graham Beck, Sauvignon Blanc Game Reserve

The nose is pretty classic NZ Sauv Blanc in a South African Sauv Blanc, with citrus, tomato bush, a candy note & even a flinty quality ~ The palate is fairly light bodied, perhaps a bit heavier than most new world Sauv Blancs with moderate to high acid with flavours of lime, tart green apple, guava, green grass & a bit chalky on the finish ~ A simple but suprisingly nice wine for the price
