Yellow hue, stone fruit, hint of tropical on the nose, well balanced palate, nutty lees and a clean long finish. Excellent NZ Chardonnay

Better than my last bottle of this, less tropical and a little more mineral drive through the palate. Still quite simple, no real x-factor here but drank well over several night. More a fuller, riper style it seems, ripe melons and stone fruits, hazelnuts and nougat and supporting oak. A full and rounded finish brings it together. A nice enough chardonnay but an early drinker for me.

Think this is very much a drink now proposition. Quite ripe, seems more about the fruit than structure. Quite a developed and rich colour. Peaches and tropical notes but lacking some personality, finesse and elegance, it is a little blunt but a nice drink nonetheless.

This is quite impressive. Intense and rich. Not blowsy, fat, nor over-oaked. Surprisingly foward, personally I prefer more backbone and austerity at this age. I would not bother cellaring this. Enjoy now. 13.5% ABV, sealed with screwcap.
