at cellar temp: wine sprayed everywhere after opening crown cap. bitter and astringent, vegetal, tomato leaf with bright, if slightly underripe, raspberry chilled it down and the unruly tannins receded into better balance, at the expense of losing fruit vibrancy as it warmed slightly in glass it showed the best version of itself, still a bit astringent and vegetal but reminiscent of chambord a bit finicky, and not much payoff for finally getting it right

This is nice. Very frizzante. Very fresh. Full of fresh raspberry and cherry on the nose, which both follow through on the palate (especially the raspberry), along with a touch of bitterness. Fairly short length. Light-bodied and unmistakably Pinor Noir, this is a delicious Pet Nat for under $20—a rarity in NYC these days.
