Purcari 1827 Cabernet Sauvignon de Purcari

On the nose, red fruits, well-integrated oak, clove, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel. On the palate, oak is a bit too dominant. High aromatic profile but over-oaked. Clove, milky coffee. For its price it’s good, but a bit of a “carpenter’s wine.” Oak disrupts balance. Aromatic profile is nice. Long finish. No complexity.
