Latta Vino Bad Reputation Blanc

Not the best Latta wine I’ve had. Viognier is a tough one to get the balance right on - to me this one leans heavily to the side of underripeness to maintain acidity, rather than pushing for flavour ripeness. There’s a little honeyed aroma, with some rockmelon, a little orange oil and lemon curd - but the aromatics and texture feel more winemaking derived (lees work, skin contact, oxidative handling, old oak) than fruit derived.
