Geyser Peak Shiraz

Purple-black to the rim, the color isn't too intense. Nose of leather and strawberry/blackberry, almost pinot-ish. Decanted and drank immediately. Hot finish, at times unpleasant, with a nice vegetal edge though. Midpalate is soft and like very thin velvet, but not of terribly high quality. As for the attack, there really isn't any. No acidity to speak of, and no primary fruit. Kinda strange.
