Dark purple, very floral nose, rose, charcoal and sweet brown spices, fresh & lively on the palate too plus plum, licorice, chocolate with some minor twiggy savoury notes on the finish but all up quite an elegant low oak modern take on Barossa shiraz.

Woods Crampton tasting and dinner (North Sydney Cellars) : Medium minus aromas of blackcurrant and black pepper. In the mouth the wine is savoury, pepper and juicy with chewy palate gripping tannin and touches of liquorice on the finish. Quite thick. Hmm
