Straw color. Grass and grapefruit aromas. Citrus and pink grapefruit flavors lead to a crisp refreshing finish. John Karen before Fresno.

Family Winemakers 25th Anniversary Tasting, I remember their first at the Hyatt Embarcadero. Nose of melon, citrus, and honey, more of the same on the palate, good acid, probably better in 6 months, medium body, just delicious, long finish.

Retail $23. Much more aromatic than the ’13. Pineapple and guava on the nose, more viscous and rich. Very Good to Excellent. 89-91 Points. www.thedrunkencyclist.com
