A deep nose of mushrooms and forest floor is immediate, with hints of red cherry and slight smokiness. The palate is silky soft, good acidity, medium bodied, red cherry with spice and smoke again, and a nice finnish of 5 seconds plus. Absolutely great pinot certainly gives burgundy a run for its money
