del Rios Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2013 del Rios Cab Sav is one of my favourites under $50 bottles in Australia of this variety. Deep forest fruits take over the palet with a beautiful oak after tone with beautiful long tanins. Have purchased a few cases since getting onto this bottle as I think it'll age wonderfully!

Fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon. Good structure and balance need to make sure I don’t drink it all and keep some in my cellar. Licorice, cassis, dark fruits with well integrated tannins.

Nose of rhubarb, root beer, anise, and smoke. Palate is young, primary, and confectionery, with strong flavours of blackcurrant, dill, and cola, all complemented by bold oak (vanilla, smoke, cocoa). Comes on strong, but gets more settled and easy-drinking with time.
