Took to dinner at a friend's house. Nothing to write home about. Not bad. But not memorable either.

Pleasantly dusty tannins still on this but a deceptively silky texture with a great core of blackberry-vanilla-caramel-cream. Matched well with a rich braised garlicky chicken thigh tomato-artichoke-olive dish.

...or 93? really nice petit sirah blend. Made us think of Robert foley PS, which we had next, similar tastes. Has lots more time.

Definitely needs to breathe a bit, otherwise can be harsh at the outset. Otherwise quite bold purple fruit, multidimensional, suitable as a cocktail wine.

Really pleasant full bodied wine - just missing the complexity and smoothness from being outstanding. But quite enjoyable.

Rather tasty. I suspect it will only get better with a few more years, but good to go right now.

Bold, rich and concentrated. A wine made to enjoy with food.

In an excellent place now. Dark, brooding, powerful, licorice, spices, slightly sweet, delicious. I have one more: no rush to drink it, but unlikely that I can wait.

Has become an excellent wine. If I really paid ~$25 this is one of the greatest steals since Apple ripped off IBM. Lush, full bodied, tremendous fruit, great finish.

Took this to a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. It was oxidized. Disappointing because it had been stored in the wine fridge

Very pleasant full bodied red blend. New world but not in your face. Incredible QPR. Wish I had more than a case.

Very enjoyable full bodied blend. Certainly would buy more esp at this price point.

Bold, full-bodied, but fruit is plush and multi-dimensional. Incredible Qpr.

Drunk over couple corvain tastes, then subsequent 3 days so had highs and lows, but mostly very positive impressions. Rich, lusty, and opulent dark currant and cherry/blue berried fruits with leathery-toasty-smoky vanilla layers. Seems to enjoy the multiple days of air at this stage, nice foil to fennel sausage white pizza.

Received a big thumbs up from the missus, a new-world rich fruit lover.

Big wine that could get better with time or put with a rich dish.

I have a bunch, thought I liked it, but was underwhelmed tonight. We'll see with the next few bottles. Not a bad wine, but expecting more.

This strikes me as being past prime, with a bit of prune back palate. Giving away variation versus my last tasting seven months ago, I’m going to chalk this up as an off the bottle.

Deep, dark, rich. Agree with others: DECANT this wine.

Dark and velvety. I agree with the comments below that this wine definitely needs at least a one hour decant.
