Kinneybrook Merlot

Had at a dinner party and paired with pot-luck, so not the best tasting conditions for comparison. Initial view was medium depth with a ruby red color. Aroma moderate with a hint of cherry. Taste was medium sweet with a light body and crisp acidity. Low levels of tannins with a moderate flavor intensity. A short finish, but a pleasant aftertaste. Taste reminded me of cranberry with a hint of plum. Price was modest at about $15/bottle.
