Binigrau, Mallorca, Nounat

Served very chilled at a nice Finca in Mallorca - (not that I care much about labels) lovely spellbinding label! 14 pct alcohol, but you would not be able to tell. From the first sip I knew this was lovely juice, made from a blend of Chardonnay and indigenous grape Prensal, this was revealing some classy subdued tropical fruits while at the same time showing nice salinity, something stony about it. Not as impressive as the outstanding 2013, this is still an excellent and unique Chardonnay blend. Nice balance of minerality and fruit. Let it age another 6 months or so.
