Good straightforward Sancerre. Tropical fruit, citrus, a bit of flintiness, bright and refreshing on the palate.

Classic example of why I love Sancerre. Clear, day bright, pale straw with a silver outer edge. Bone dry, chalky minerality, and racy acidity. Nose and palate express tart citrus, lemon, gooseberry, grapefruit, white peach, and green apple. There's a herbaceous quality displaying pyrazines, freshly cut grass, and green bell pepper.

Above average Sancerre. Lots of grapefruit, a touch of grapefruit, sherbet on the finish. Decent QPR but there are better examples at similar prices. 88 points
