Superbe. Pour les amateurs de vins expressifs et juteux. Couleur pourpre avec des reflets d'évolution. Nez fabuleux de graphite, cerise noire, réglisse, vanille, fines herbes. En bouche, l'attaque est douce, presque sucrée, supportée par une belle acidité. Ici, on ne s'attend pas à un vin nuancé ou en finesse. Voici un vin de tempranillo harmonieux, mature, de belle vivacité avec puissance et élégance. Délicieux et prêt à boire.

Similaire à ma précédente...pas la patience et le temps d'attendre ce genre de vin...de un pas certain qu'il se bonifiera et de 2 j'ai pleins de 1999, 2001, 2004, 2005 et 2006 en cave qui approche leur fenêtre d'approchabilité!

Tempranillo, aged 18 months in American oak barrels, 14% vol. Decanted 3 hours before dinner. Still very primary with red stone fruit and only a hint of tobacco, on the palate quite smooth, medium acidity, full bodied and medium length. Did a step up within the last 3 years, but will still need at least another 4 years to peak, for now it is good but a bit simple, 89+.

Coming into a great drinking window right now. Was wide open from the get go with lively fruits, melded tannins and a velvety mid palate that was so rewarding. The finish, with some charcuterie and slight earthiness really completed the experience. Wish I had more to enjoy over the next 2-4 years.

Cèdre, boîte à épices, boîte à tabac, baies rouges mûres et cassonade brulée...très beau ! Un vin fruité mûr, ample et rond, avec des tannins fins mais présents. Acidité fraiche, texturé et sapide. Finale moyenne sur des notes salines...et chaud. Prêt à boire. 90++

Violet foncé. Fruits frais au nez, un peu d'alcool, vanille. En bouche cette bouteille ressemble davantage à la précédente (2020) que la première (2018). Tanins asséchants, acidité très élevée, longueur moy, fruits frais, vanille. À carafer le plus longtemps possible! (ou attendre en cellier)

Very well composed. In the nose lots of forrest fruits, plum and subtle vanilla. On the palate soft fruit, prune, oak, clear tannins, a fine and significant acidity and a fairly long, aftertaste. Good balance all the way through.

Made by Alejandro Fernandez of Pesquera fame. Strong American oak (I think it's American) on the nose: coconut, vanilla, spice. Furry tannins initially, and then aromatic vanilla oaky notes, coconut and walnut. Dark fruits. Oak is powerful but not overwhelming. If you like that slightly old school SPanish wine style, tempranillo plus American oak, you'll like this. I did. GOod price too £15.

God fyldig frukt med en lang god ettersmak, tanninrik som trengte bernaisesaus. Alt i alt perfekt match til helstekt indrefilet av svin.

Decanted an hour before dinner (more would have been better). Very primary with dark fruit that covers the earthy notes and tobacco, medium to full bodied, good freshness and medium+ finish. Not as focussed as the best vintages of this wine, ok now (88 points), will improve with further cellaring and will peak in 5 to 7 years with a potential of 90+ points.

Color: Medium Ruby Aromatics: We both noted strong oak, with Jessie noting some coconut. Then came the black fruits, with Jessie first noting cocoa and Max first noting pepper. Encore fermé et avec des tanins rudes. On perçoit néanmoins une belle structure et de la belle matière. À carafer plusieurs heures, boire sur plusieurs jours ou de préférence, attendre plusieurs années...

I rather liked this, ripe notes of dark cherry and vanilla, but pretty big tannins prevented this from coming across as being flat. Hedonistic for sure, but it worked for some deeper contemplation and thoughts.
