Don't understand the bad reviews: This wine was certainly not thin. Big, huge wine that definitely needed aeration, but it opened up into a lush tangle of complexity, all with a sweet smoothness down the middle. Wish we had more.

I get red fruit, lots of oak, and heavy tannins. Quite acidic.

Not a good taste

Deep, dark purple. Cherry. Ripe red fruit. Strawberry jam. Very aromatic. Full body. Medium high acidity. Long finish. Medium yet harsh tannins.

Light for a Zin.

Bleh. Kind of okay on the front but over sweet in body, leaving a syrupy aftertaste.

First impression spicy and hot. Cherries, blackberries with some cola notes. Some oak and smokiness. Not impressed.

Good with air dries okra and beef eggplant casserole
