Medium ruby, fading to a garnet rim. Ripe, baked black and red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, red plum. Black pepper, violets, cedar, meaty, but there is a slight note of VA. Med + acid and tannin, but med body and alcohol. Drinking really well right now. Acid keeps this tasting fresh, will go for a couple more years, but nearing its peak.
