tasted annual NZ Trade Tasting, London Jan 2015. brief notes only..... Insipid. Soft, a bit green edge/stalky too. Too light, not enough power and flavour. Weird for a winery of this class (normally). marked it Bronze, at best. RR price £ 22.00.....not worth that.

Cherry, spice, earth and hint of oak, mild to fully resolved tannin and acid that is fresh but subdued. This is a good entry level Pinot, that has no hard edges

Everything you would expect from a great Pinot Noir. Smooth, not tannic, not overly fruity yet displayed an elegance. Was better than I expected. Opened at a blind tasting and got universal approval. Many were surprised this was from New Zealand but yet pleased.

Good, but not great. Good fruit up front but a bit hollow for this price point. Pretty smooth overall but just seems to be missing something. At this price, there are better value pilots.

Great fruit up front. Black cherries. Bouquet leaps out of the glass. Good depth and very good body. One of the nicer Pinots I have had.
