Really enjoyable wine - fantastic QPR. Almost a cross between a Sauvignon Blanc and a Pinot Grigio. Crisp and satisfying. Lemon and citrus, along with tropical fruits. Gives clear indication of its warmer weather origins.

Good wine but not like Spanish or Portuguese Albarino, less distinctive of the grape. Glycerol (a bit oily) mouthfeel, so perhaps from very ripe grapes. If tasted blind I might have guessed from California. My first Uruguayan wine.

A very nice white wine - grapefruit and stone fuit. I drank a whole bottle without notice.

Light gold color with a tinge of green and a bright sheen. Sharply acidic pineapples, green apples, white peach, and pears on the nose. Pineapple and pineapple notes dominate, which is a first for me. Lime notes on the finish with some guava thrown in the mix.

Pale lemon green in the glass. Lots of peach and citrus on this, giving this wine a quite straightforward profile compared to the single vineyard Albarino which had a bit more complexity. Tart, simple and easy to drink. Not much beyond this, so a tad overpriced.

Nice enough. Albarino is always good with cheese and this was no exception. However, I would rate this a low QPR. Didn't outperform other Albarinos closer to $12. Might have felt differently if paired with the perfect dish.

Light and fine, showing green apple and starfruit. Medium in acidity, but high in finesse and balance.

Sat, 02/08/20, $2 Tasting (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA) : “100% Albariño fermented & aged (3-6 mos on the lees) in s/s tanks; 13.5% ABV, 3.0 g/L R.S., 6.9 g/L T.A., & 3.35 pH; Bottled June 2019.” N: CLOSED; Minerals, lemons? Intensity lurking? P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt deftly counterbalanced by an acidity which fairly seamlessly transitions into a LONG, balanced, tangy/swt finish with OCCASIONAL *hints* of bitterness that I'd not expect to …

Lemon pie, white flowers, baby powder, honey dew. Green apple, lemon-lime cola, pear. Pretty similar to a 2016 my notes show I drank 6-7 months ago.
