Fairly earthy. Agree that this is probably on the downslide. Losing its fruit.

It was OK - nothing special, or all that memorable.

Be aware of the sediment, not necessary to strain though. Superb pinot. It it were slightly fuller and hung on just a bit more, I would be in heaven.

Right after being opened the fruit was red cherry and raspberry, but after a couple of hours morphed to blackberry and dark fruit. Also added some earthiness and just generally got more complex. Turned into a very nice wine with gentle oak and good balance of acidity. Certainly fine to pop and pour, but you'll miss the best this has to offer.

Earth on the nose, considerably more structured than 05 Morgan 12 Clones which started the night. Beautiful color, opened up after an hour, showed dark fruits. Short finish. Would purchase again.

Popped and poured. Initially red berry/cherry with a hint of dust. After about 30-45 minutes, dark berry and earth flavors emerged and dominated. Fruit-forward and almost soft, but with plenty of stuffing and a medium long, slightly acidic finish.

Full nose, perfect color and clarity. Black cherry on the front palate. Short finish. Solid acidity with enough fruit to evolve for 2-3 more years. I was curious about this because I recently had a 2004 Arista Longbow and the fruit was almost gone. After being vacu-vin'd overnight (about half a bottle), the structure and balance held up. Tannins greatly softened and the fruit was still there.

Opened not decanted. First bottle of the evening. Tart cherry that morphs to black cherry; spicy and peppery with a dry and somewhat sharp finish. A Good to Very Good wine that would improve with a decent decant.

Well balanced nose with creamy vanilla, rich strawberry and cherry, along with subtle earthyness. Amazing balance of acid, sugar, alcohol, and medium-bodied fruit on the palate.

Opened not decanted. Complex nose: lots going on here: dry strawberry, earth, sweet candy with a touch of ginger ale. Some clarity at the edge of the glass. On the palate: dry attack of spice and cinnamon; morphs to a very dark and round black fruit.profile with strong earth notes. Good.

Strawberry, cherry, white pepper, floral notes, and cinnamon on the nose. Cherry, strawberry. Vanilla and black pepper mid-palate. Cinnamon stick, gentle oak, orange peel on the finish. Long finish and a bit tannic for a pinot. Some pinot fans may want to lay this down another year so the tannins mellow a bit.

violets and red fruit (cherry/strawberry) on the nose with pine straw and brown spices. Med body with medium concentration. Nice bright acidity creates good balance and makes it a good wine for food. Classically Russian River but not overtly so. Well made good all-around Pinot. Was excellent with a gazpacho and tuna tartare dish. 2+G

No formal notes. An enjoyable but not memorable or distinctive pinot. 89-90 points, on the fence about ordering some.

Tasted at the winery. Sweet nose of fruit; tight bright fruit on the palate with high acid and a citrus finish. Good.

Winery: Rich, darker frt, alcohol! Rasp & cherry, wild cherry; way too young, fair way, a bit awkward.
