Simply amazing. At age ten this wine is showing a little bit of gold in its color. The nose is pure and fruity. On the palate the wine is dry but fruity. Pretty good flavors of pear, nectarine and a little pineapple. Slightly cloying. Chilling it a bit more brought things a bit more in to focus, but also made it a bit more simple. It needs to resolve itself but I am guessing it won't not bad to drink on the back patio well chilled at the end of a long summer day though. 85 pts

Pale straw; limes, peaches, honeysuckle; off-dry, lemon-lime, minerally, light body, tangy acidity, lingering finish. Lightly styled lime, floral and slate notes with a surprisingly long finish. Finger Lakes Rieslings have a definite German character. Tasty with Thai shrimp.

Blinded Riesling tasting beside 5 other Rieslings. Pale gold in glass. Beautiful floral nose with pear, perfume, and a hint of soap (lavender?). White fruits on the palate well balanced with nice acidity. Good weighty mouthfeel with incredibly smooth finish. Residual sugar is not overbearing . Overall, a very well rounded "crowd-pleaser" of a wine. Finished first in our tasting. (Solid B).

Pale yellow in the glass with a floral, elegant nose. Reminded me a bit of perfume, and not in the cloying sense. In the elegant, classy, luxurious sense. Hmm, really liked this. Nose average, with notes of citrus mostly. However on the palate I thought it really shone: great rich acidity, fruit of citrus and stone and, while label says dry, I have to think there's some RS in there that adds to a kick-a** round mouthfeel. Long finish that lingers with mouthwatering tartness; good cold but more complex as it warms.

Off-dry and lots of minerals. Tastes a lot like a german mineral-driven riesling. However, there was an off flavor on the finish that made this one awkward. However, paired with crabcakes (2nd day), this wine really complemented the meal.

An interesting style: seems drier than it is because of a racy core of lemon and lime flavors and a stiff backbone of acidity. At the same time, this shows some flesh with juicy notes of peach and apricot and a structured finish full of mineral and crushed stones.
