Svært utviklet. Først meget syrlig og lite frukt igjen i vinen også markant duft av kjøttkraft/buljong. Med luft legger vinen på seg og det kommer aroma av lyse røde bær, tjære. Interessant vin, men den nærmer seg slutten. Kanskje ikke helt optimal flaske der korken satt løst og falt ned i flasken ved åpning.

Light and weak brownish color. In the beginning peculiar off aromas with something like soap, bouillon and rubber. With some time in the glass it gained more intensity and weight, with typical, developed nebbiolo aromas including tar, aceton and also some cured meat. Definitely on the decline.

nice old barbaresco but well past prime, color was browning but age appropriate, palate was alive and had some zippy structure -- good acidity, tannins were resolved, palate was spice and after about 90 minutes in decanter got some smoke, it seemed best as we finished it around hour three but even then it only had a hint of fruit, with more red fruit to balance the structure and secondary elements it could have been superb
