Une autre ouverture! Still solid. Une richesse au nez que bien des gens s'attendent à retrouver en bouche.. Et bien non c'est sec++, ce qui en surprend plus d'un. Se boit très bien seul ou avec un fromage pâte ferme, noix, etc. J'en ai encore commandé!

Deux autres bouteilles bues mi-juillet et début août. Idem à ma note de janvier. Ont été très bien conservées, de toute évidence! Unanimité pour tous les gens avec qui je partage ce vin: On aime.

Un très beau blanc de 22 ans! Ne fait pas Gewurz vraiment, pourrait passer pour un vieux Pinot gris aussi.. Une belle rondeur, équilibré, beau fruits blanc et jaune. Pas très parfumé au final. Une belle expérience.

Wonderful! Had with lobster. Nice nose and wonderful sweetness and spice. Drinking beautifully now and has holding power for a few more years.

Hot Basement Tasting @ Howard's (Westport) : Very ripe, sweet, spicy Gewurtz. Rich and round in the mouth. Great initial impact of ginger and cinammon. Seems to be a bit lacking in the acidity department, but perhaps this was due to the fact that it was starting to warm up a bit. Very nice wine.
