Consistent to previous note. Generous fruit, good weight, nice acidity, decent length. The alcohol is well integrated. 90-92

Just had a glass of the ‘17 - this wine is not as focused, and the color is more bronze. Richer, seemingly fuller-bodied, with a honeyed note on the nose. These are both very likable, yet also quite different versions of the grape. Not sure I could pick a favorite, but I could see pairing these up with different dishes.

Generous and open on the nose - pears, herbs, yellow stone fruit. On the palate good acidity, minerality, lots of concentration and weight. Intense, generous, lovely length. 91-93

Slight cork taint on nose and palate. Dull, no fruit, out of balance.

Single blind tasting Pale gold color Medium to medium - aromatics of honeysuckle, apple and water Medium palate with medium + acidity that is rather linear in the mouth, no phenolic bitterness and medium alcohol. Crisp, unripe but fresh yellow apples and salt. Reasonably balanced wine with good acid to fruit, but perhaps would have liked a little more fruit. Finish is medium + length carried by acid and some creamy notes to mouthfeel

Light gold color Medium aromas of stone fruit and honeysuckle Medium plus palate of unripe stone fruit with salinity in the background High crescendo of acidity - I mistook this for a Chenin Blanc Medium plus finish Great Pinot Blanc - I think the acidity almost dominates this wine however, and Im an acid lover

Tasteful Pinot Blanc. Good depth and acidity, but in my taste a bit too alcoholic. It counts 14% alcohol, so I advise to drink it a bit colder than average.

Still showing pretty young - slightly spicy and rich green fruit, a touch of honey on the edge and certainly with weight. Excellent ****+

An interesting full bodied white. 100% Pinot Bianco but tastes like a complex blend with light tropical notes and a touch of petrol. Good by itself or with fruit.

A light yellow-gold in the glass; a honeyed note on the nose that is fairly distinctive. Not as forthcoming on the palate - a little clenched. Not bad, but the palate doesn't really follow through on the promise that the nose made.

Blind tasting, oily texture, balance and smooth, keeping a dry style like some assirtiko. Flavours of pear and perhaps some shy exotic note as papaya. Pinot guessed, vinified without residual sugar. Perhas on the ways down for some tasters.

Light golden in the glass, with a nose that displays tart white fruits, minerals and a faint petrol hint. Decent acidity, somewhat rounded on the palate, with a lengthy finish. Very good, with nice complexity.

Yellow-gold in the glass; a nose that can best be described as both floral as well as minerally - nice nose. In a word, delicious. Nice supporting acidity, and good persistence. Wish I had bought more, but this is not the easiest wine to track down.

Pop and pour and tasted without food. Wonderful floral nose with a hint of white pepper. Light in flavor, showing some mineral notes, sea spray, and a light lemon cur profile. Enjoyable although quite light in flavor.

Deep yellow color. Intense, full bodied, meaty, and typical Pinot Blanc. Very delicate too.

Medium yellow color. Nose of peach, melon, and pepper. Medium bodied, rich for a Bianco. Still linear with good acidity and a nice mineral finish. This needs two years in bottle minimum and has the ability to age much longer. I detect some autolytic nuances in the finish which most likely will emerge with age.

Nose: ripe peach, apricot, honeydew, dried pineapple, linden tea, spices, chalky, and when warmer touch of smoke, sophisticated, just great, a lot of going on here, simillar to high end riesling spatlese trocken Taste: full bodied, medium acidity, peach, honeydew, tangerine, linden tea, chalky, white pepper long finish, clean, dense, complex, great structure, I believe it can be much better in 5+ years, 91+

This really is an outstanding Vorberg. Younger than I would normally drink it, but already a tremendous glass. High altitude vineyards and for me one of the best 100% Pinot Biancos in the world.

Beautiful Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige. The 2013 shows ripe rich fruit with underlying minerality. I think this could be even better with short term cellaring. 91+

2013 was a favorable year in Alto adige for the wide daily temperature ranges in the weeks before the harvest and this excellent Pinot blanc benefited from it. Produced in 30 hl oak barrels, then aged for 12 mo on lees in traditional wooden barrels it sports 14% alcohol. Bright straw yellow with delicate golden hues. The bouquet is complex, with ripe fruit, peach, pear, and melon. With hints of dried fruit and a touch of balsamic. On the palate …

Italian pinot bianco from Alto Adige. Complex, round, concentrated flavors, with good bouquet. First rate expression of this varietal. Excellent match with prosciutto, salami, sopressata, as it complements and enhances the flavors of the Italian salumi without overpowering them.

Modestly pale lemon yellow color with fain green highlights. Rich, ripe and succulent nose with intense aromas of apricot, dried peach, some sweet fruit candy aromas and a hint of floral complexity. Full-bodied palate with rather modest acidity and velvety texture. Quite mineral-driven palate with ripe and moderately sweet flavors of red apple, peach, bitter stony minerality, some yellow plum notes and mature, slightly smoky and nutty nuances. The acidity does not really cut through the body that seems to …
