Demilly de Baere Cuvée Or Brut: The champagne offered green apple, citrus, some stone fruit and brioche on the nose and palate, with tart, medium-plus acidity and good length. The young, medium- to light-bodied champagne finished tart. Not a fan.

80% Chardonnay og 20% Pinot Blanc. Gule epler og en røykaktig mineralitet. Flott mousse, og medium konsentrasjon med fin friskhet. Ungdommelig og litt rustikk. Ganske god lengde med et fint batterisleik-bitt i finish. Det følger også med en del bitterstoffer, som ødelegger ørlite. God vin og funket fint i sola til lettgrillet lårfilet av kylling.

Nice aperitif style blanc de blancs, not as full bodied as i like. Has a beautiful nose however the palete falls slightly short but still very enjoyable.

Airport and airline lounge wines AA #60 Narita - Dallas FC Not too bad. Lemon and vanilla on the nose. Medium bodied. Lemon, grapefruit with a slightly bitter after taste. Came across just a tad green. All in all quite enjoyable for what it is.

Very fine mousse, pinot weight but chardonnay dominates aromatically, crisp, good fruit, mature nuttiness.

Grower Champagne from Bligny, Aube, in the far outskirts of Champagne. Predominantly Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, blended with Chardonnay and a small amount of Pinot Blanc – among of the rare four sparsely cultivated varietals still permitted in Champagne. Light yellow color, medium-sized bubbles. Fresh citrus, floral, and roasted nut aromas. Medium-bodied, slightly sweet palate, featuring apple, citrus, roasted nuts, and a firm minerality. Medium-short finish. Priced at just over $30, this is an excellent find and terrific bargain …
