TWS North London - Volcanic Wines (Must & Lees, N1) : Surprisingly developed both in colour and flavour profile. Red fruits and liquorice, mushrooms and damp forest floor. Beautifully resolved tannins, concentrated, clean and transparent on the palate.

Volcanic Wines (Must and Lees, N1) : Medium red. A sharp acidity, quite delicious and very refreshing, it has olive tones and lovely ripe red fruit that is again quite burgundian in nature. I like this a lot.

TWS North London; Volvanic Wines at Must & Lees (Must & Lees, N1) : Quite a lot of restraint on both the nose and the palate. Very polite. Not (for me, others disagreed) obviously 12 years old. Crap note-taking from me; this is all.

Volcanic Wines of North London (Must & Lees) : 100% Nerello Mascalese. Attractive pale tomato colour. Some lovely red fruit on the nose, and more red fruit on the restrained palate, which was sour, softly smoky, with soft, sandy tannins. Classy stuff.
