Rich, delicious raspberry fruit, excellent structure, mellowing tannins, long finish, spectacular wine

Dark berries and spice. Layered, balanced and smooth. Integrated tannins and a long finish. One hour ox. Increasingly opened up through dinner. Another great Vertigo from Booker.

There isn't much of a nose and the palate is very light. It is somehow able to be very smooth and still have the typical syrah bite as well. I do get some raspberry though.

really outstanding - dark berry, mocha, and licorice in a smooth, velvety wine . In peak form so drink up

Agree with the earlier statement that it was hard to pick out the individual components ... not saying that's a bad thing, just an observation. Feel that this is probably drinking at peak right now, don't see it improving much more.

This is excellent. I love Paso Robles Syrah's and this is one reason why. It is a blend of 57% Syrah, 32% Mourvedre, and 11% Grenache. I think the blend softens the Syrah in a good way. The wine is long, balanced, smooth. There is a nice spice/pepper taste balanced with nice fruit, not sweet. Syrah might be my favorite variety which probably makes me an exception.

Drank over two days. Much improved over the previous bottle but still room for improvement and integration of the oak and tannins. The flavors are delicious. High-toned acid, dark fruit, some spices. There is a lovely precision in the long finish although quite a lot of oak remains.

What a difference 18 months made! This was a wonderful bottle, full and sweet, lots of flavor. We can't pick out the individual components, but it was just a treat to drink.

Very ripe, full bodied complex wine. Extra age gets more more flavors of vanilla, allspice, tobacco, almost becomes a liqueur.

Very tight but tasty. Improved slightly after two hours in decanter but probably needs more age to get out of this phase.

I liked it better a couple of years ago.

Disappointing... I'm a huge Booker fan, this was nothing special, even after one hour decant. I think the regular Vertigo is better than the 24.

Powerful blend of 57% Syrah, 32% Mourvedre, 11% Grenache, with the varietals fully integrated and yet each on display. Maybe better the second evening.

Leather, oak and anise on the nose. Black cherry predominant on the palate with a long, peppery finish. Fruit forward but not cloyingly so. Alcohol is noticeable but felt more than tasted. Excellent.

Amazing velvety texture, dark fruit, cooking spices, steak, cut flowers, tar and squid ink. Extremely well balanced and good length. Needs a bit more complexity for high 90's but this was very very good.

Very powerful, dark wine. Loads of dark fruits, smoke, loam . . .
